Page rank for sale.  If you have been online for quite some time, you will notice that there are some sites selling their PR links or trading them with other sites.  If you are doing this, expect a ban sometime in the future.  It is okay to sell ads or gain the links, but doing it simply because of your page rank is a way to get on search engines bad side.

Doorways.  This is similar to cloaking pages.  The common practice of a page loaded with choice keyword ads aimed at redirecting visitors to another “user-friendly” page is a big issue among search engines.  There are many seo firms offering this kind of services.  Now that you know what they actually are, try to avoid them at all costs.

Multiple domains having the same content.  In case you are not aware of it, search engines look at domains IP’s, registry dates and many others.  Having multiple domains having the same exact content is not something you can hide from them.  The same goes with content multiplied many times on separate pages, sub domains and forwarding multiple domains to the same content.

Many of the above techniques apply to most search engines and is not entirely for Google only.  By having a mindset that you are building your Adsense pages together with your pages for the human users and not for bots, you can be assured of the great things for your ads and sites.

We want to know what happens; we want to know more but we’re going to have to wait until version 2 hits the big screen. With your content, the reader doesn’t need to wait because there are a couple of live links in our content with specific call to action instructions they can click on to find out more. And that’s exactly what we want them to do… isn’t it?

We are not saying you should finish your content in such a way that it doesn’t make sense but instead do it in a way to entice the reader to take a look out of curiosity at what we have got to offer.

There is a fine line between readers just reading content as opposed to reading and clicking through and that fine line in our opinion is the closing paragraph. Yes, the entire content itself needs to be interesting enough for them to continue reading but if they get to the end then you can be rest assured they were interested.  Post borrowed from http://www.johncow.com/

There are so many freakin’ ways to get free traffic out there that it should be illegal.  The best part is you can send it to your website or directly to affiliate offers. These ideas are relatively old, but many people still don’t know the basics.  People have made millions of dollars using classified sites like Craigs List and Gumtree, but there are plenty of other locations for it.  Start thinking about where people go on the internet for free…

Facebook, MySpace, YouTube… yeah no brainers right?

Have you thought about utilizing forums?  There are like hundreds of thousands of niche forums and blogs out there nowadays.  All you have to do is dig into the ones that have potential.  The key is not to look like a newbie and spam the hell out of them.  If these blogs or forums are in your niche, then you should probably visit and learn from them often.   Post like 30 times before you start mentioning your product or service.  And no, I don’t mean posting 30 times per night.  Get involved, become a regular.  All of the sudden your credibility is there and when you drop a hint or link to a product, it doesn;t look like spam.  Again, I am not suggesting you should visit Asian MILF Forums or Teen Blog’s if you have no interest in those niches…  Stick with what you know and what you like.  You can be an expert that way.

The same with social sites like Facebook.  Become a member of a number of groups, add alot of friends and don’t spam at first… then when the time is right… kapow!!!  Hammer those links and make some money.
